Alejandro Saravia Dinner

Hogget Kitchen presents a dinner with renowned Chef Alejandro Saravia who is widely credited with introducing Peruvian cuisine to Australia’s food culture. In addition to running his own critically acclaimed restaurant, Pastuso in Melbourne, Alejandro became the official food and beverage ambassador in 2017 for Gippsland, Victoria on the back of the successful Renascence Gippsland program that focus on promoting this amazing Victorian region widely known for its green pastures and high-quality grass-fed beef and their producers. 

It seemed only fitting that we came together to create a dinner with Gippsland produce and experience Alejandro's cooking techniques here at Hogget Kitchen. 

Alejandro founded Farmer’s Daughters which provides a ‘paddock to plate’ experience using local ingredients grown with passion and love. Farmer's Daughters is all about fresh produce, connecting customers to farmers, to their dreams and how they work with the seasons and the land.

For this reason, we have decided to donate proceeds from each ticket to The Prom Coast Food Collective which is a Charity that they are supporting for this current year, donations will be allocated to support their initiative and with the money collected, we will help achieve a specific small goal that would help the development of the Prom Coast Food Collective’s vision.




Alejandro's style of cooking for Farmer's Daughters focuses on bringing back the essence and simplicity of cooking. Using local produce and ingredients that are available and on the pick of the season.

We are bringing old-school techniques back and respect to the people that work the land and sea.

Hogget Kitchen presents a co-lab of beer & friends!

We work exclusively with Sailors Grave Brewing and have colabborated to bring you an evening of communal dining, feasting food, beer, beer and more beer! If you dont like beer then this event is not for you.

We have teamed up and created a Hogget Kitchen beer which will be released exclusively for the event. Think forest floor, pine and mushrooms!

Dinner includes canapes to start, followed by a sit down 3 course meal in true sharing style the way Hogget loves to celebrate. 

Each course will be matched by our friends Chris and Gab from Sailors Grave. Meet the brewers and enjoy and evening without wine!

Get Jessi to Malaysia congress

Jessi McEwan, a passionate young Gippsland chef, titles including Australian young chef ambassador, world chef brand ambassador and sous chef of our very own Hogget Kitchen, would like to invite you to our fundraising dinner event.

Showcasing the best of Hogget and (friends) local producers, we pair up with the Australian Culinary Federation to bring you a four-course dinner. All donations and ticket sales will be aimed at helping our chef represent Australia at the 2018 World Chefs Congress held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

So, bring some loose change, a dapper outfit and empty tummies to Hogget Kitchen for an evening of great food and company.
